Ashwini Nagappan

Ashwini Nagappan, PhD, MBE, is the founder of Myrah, a digital health company reimagining music as a therapeutic for caregivers and those living with dementia. A health policy researcher by training, Ashwini’s work examines how emerging consumer health technologies are reshaping care delivery, ethics, and access. She founded Myrah to translate evidence-informed, culturally grounded music interventions into scalable tools that support emotional well-being and help families age in place. She holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from UCLA, a Master’s in Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Global Public Health and Sociology at NYU.
